The Process

While the exact process may vary slightly, here’s a general overview of purchasing a Creative Modular Home:

Pre-Construction

Initial Consultation: This is where you’ll discuss your needs, lifestyle, budget and location for the home you would like to build. At this stage, you should also speak to your bank or mortgage broker to arrange pre-approval if you haven’t already obtained this.

Site Assessment & Design Selection: Creative Modular Homes will conduct a complimentary site inspection if you already have land (or choose from one of our blocks if you don’t!). Based on your input and the site assessment, we will work with you to finalise the design of your modular home. This includes floor plans, interior and exterior finishes, and any specific features you desire. At this stage, a deposit of $3,000.00 is required.

Quote and Contract: Once the design is finalised, you’ll receive a detailed quote outlining all costs involved. After reviewing and agreeing to the quote, you’ll be provided with the HIA contract for review and signing. The contract will include all the plans, specifications and the estimated construction price and any upgrade allowances you have selected. At this stage, the balance of the deposit is due along with the settlement of the land if purchased through Creative Modular Homes.

Permits and Approvals: Creative Modular Homes will assist you in obtaining the necessary building permits and council approvals required for your home along with ordering soil reports, full contours and detailed survey of the block of land.

Post-Construction

Finishing Touches: Once the modules are in place, the finishing touches will be completed, including connecting the modules, completing interior and exterior finishes, and landscaping.

Handover: After a final payment and inspections, you’ll receive the keys to your new Creative Modular Home and can move in!
